Shell chemicals companies are leading suppliers of isoparaffins, a group of high purity, relatively high boiling synthetic hydrocarbon solvents. Because they are produced using carefully controlled feedstocks and process conditions, the resulting Isoparaffin composition, structure and performance properties are consistent and naturally low in impurities.

Isoparaffins are virtually odourless making them particularly suitable for use in odour-free paints, printing inks, dry cleaning, wallpaper manufacture, photocopying, household sprays, fragrant polishes and hand cleaners.
