Celebrating 75 years since the first win at Silverstone
Shell and Scuderia Ferrari HP celebrated their first Formula 1 World Championship victory at the 1951 British Grand Prix in Silverstone. The longstanding partnership has since become one of the most recognised and successful in the sport’s history.
As the 2026 FIA technical regulations come into effect this season, Shell continues to bring its expertise to the team, developing new formulations of Shell V‑Power race fuel and Shell Helix performance lubricant to help Scuderia Ferrari HP maximise performance on track in this new era.

Continuing a strong legacy of success with Ferrari in endurance racing
Shell’s longstanding Innovation Partnership with Ferrari extends beyond Formula 1 to endurance racing’s top class.
Since expanding into the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) again in 2023, the partnership has delivered incredibly strong results across the championship, spanning both Hypercar and GT categories, including three consecutive victories at the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Hours of Le Mans.
Shell’s support to the Ferrari Hypercar programme centres on the provision of Shell lubricants and coolants, critical to delivering performance, reliability and durability at the extreme in this ultimate test of endurance.

Partnership on and off the track
Shell continues to support Scuderia Ferrari HP’s technological and decarbonisation progress, and pursuit of success on the track.
On the racetrack, Shell is working with Scuderia Ferrari HP to develop future fuels and lubricants that meet the FIA’s 2026 technical regulations. Blended and produced at the Shell Technology Centre in Hamburg, Germany, these formulations help improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions* while delivering optimum performance.
Beyond the racetrack, Shell is supporting Scuderia Ferrari HP in identifying and implementing solutions that aim to reduce the carbon footprint of their operations and logistics. Today, Shell supplies certified renewable electricity to the famous Maranello factory and provides natural gas to help power Ferrari’s operations and manufacturing.
*the certification of Advanced Sustainable race fuel is based on the blend being 65% less in CO2e than the fossil comparator as defined in current RED (94 g CO2eq/MJ).
A new chapter in Formula 1 begins with Advanced Sustainable race fuels
