Shell Aviation fuels Goodwood Aerodrome as revival event takes off


Shell Aviation has announced today that it has become the sole supplier of aviation fuels at Goodwood Aerodrome. The agreement, which covers the supply of Avgas and Jet fuel, is the latest in a series of new airport entries in Europe. The new collaboration will be marked at one of the world’s most popular vintage aviation and motorsports celebrations – The Goodwood Revival, taking place 11-13 September.

Shell Aviation Expands European Network With Brest, France


Shell Aviation has started operations at Brest Bretagne Airport (BES) in France as the airport's exclusive supplier and operator. As part of the agreement, Shell Aviation will operate the fuel storage facilities and into-plane services at the airport through its subsidiary, Avitair and will be the sole provider of Jet A-1 and Avgas.

Shell Aviation becomes exclusive supplier at Saarbrücken, Germany


Today, Shell Aviation has announced the expansion of its refuelling network in Germany as the exclusive supplier at Saarbrücken Airport (SCN). The airport is located about 16 kilometres outside Saarbrücken, the state capital of Saarland in the South West of Germany, bordering Luxembourg and France. A dynamic regional connection point, it serves a number of scheduled and charter flights, connecting business hubs and holiday destinations. Shell will provide Jet A1 and Avgas 100LL and implement its Aviation Centre of Excellence (ACE) programme at the airport, where passenger numbers are expected to increase by 20% in 2015.

Shell Aviation introduces the new AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4, developed in collaboration with BRP-Rotax


Shell Aviation has introduced the new AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4, the second generation of its piston engine oil, specifically designed for light sport and very light/ultralight aircraft 4-stroke engines. Shell Aviation has collaborated with major engine manufacturer, BRP -Rotax, in designing the new product, which is the result of three years of development and testing in both companies’ Research and Development facilities.

Shell Aviation expands Technical Services portfolio


Shell Aviation announced that it has expanded its Technical Services Agreements (TSA) portfolio, achieving a 19% growth on the total number of its customers in 2014*. These customers are currently located in 41 countries, ranging from Southeast Asia, Africa & the Middle East to Australia and the Americas. The company offers airports, airlines and facility operators a suite of tools to enhance safety and operational standards through its TSA.

Shell Aviation becomes sole fuel operator at Lille, France


Shell Aviation started operations at Lille Airport, France, strengthening its European network with its appointment as the airport’s sole fuel operator. Shell Aviation was awarded the 10 year contract in September 2014 to operate the fuel storage facilities and into-plane services at the airport through its subsidiary, Avitair. In addition to Lille, one of France’s busiest airports, Shell Aviation currently operates in eight airports in the country.
