Ahmed runs a logistics centre where light commercial and heavy duty vehicles pick up goods for delivery across Europe.

The camera zooms out from Ahmed. A mix of vans and trucks (own vehicles, subcontractor vehicles) appear around Ahmed as they drive in.

The sound of vehicles approaching and coming to a stop.

The camera pans up as we see a charging depot, fully designed with the help of Shell. The depot includes solar panels, a mix of SBRS DC chargers, standalone and overhead gantry solutions. A battery and transformer are also present. Two vans pull in, and two trucks back up to a loading bay.

A whooshing sound accompanies the pan to the depot. We hear the trucks beeping as the reverse.

Ahmed needs to make sure his depot is ready for electric vans and trucks that need to charge.

We zoom into the depot as we see Ahmed standing next to a Shell representative. Both are holing tablets in their hands.

He worked together with Shell on the best energy solutions for his site.

We zoom back out to a wide of the depot, the vans and the trucks are highlighted by a yellow line to showcase the number of vehicles. We then start an electricity demand timelapse to showcase grid capacity.

It’s designed for his current, and future, business needs, based on site operations, number and type of vehicles, charging patterns and grid capacity.

We zoom into a medium shot. Ahmed stands next to a payment terminal as a third party truck arrives. Ahmed waves at the driver.

A whooshing sound accompanies the move into the medium shot. We hear a truck arriving.

It’s easy for his partners to charge at the depot.

The camera zooms in closer. The driver has reversed the truck under the charging gantry. He now stands next to Ahmed by the payment terminal. Ahmed has his tablet in his hand. A big Shell Card appears next to them. It glistens.

The integrated payment and authentication services allow third parties to cover their own charging costs.
