An aviation safety data sheet

Safety data sheets (SDS) communicate information on properties and hazards of substances and mixtures, recommendations for safe handling and use, requirements for storage and transport, and measures for first aid, accidental releases, exposure control and personal protection.

The format of the SDS, as well as product classification and labelling, follow the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and are in accordance with applicable laws.

Technical data sheets

Technical data sheets (TDS) provide information on the main applications or areas of use of the substance or product, the physicochemical properties and general advice on health, safety and environment impact.

Finding data sheets using Shell’s electronic product catalogue (EPC)

To access a aviation safety data sheets, please use our electronic product catalogue (EPC).

To find and download an SDS or TDS in your preferred country, the electronic product catalogue can be searched either by product (brand name), code or application.

If you’re not entirely sure of the product name or application, then a '%' can be used as a ‘wild card’ (a substitute for whole words in search phrases) anywhere in the search dialogue box.
