Excellent opportunities are available for motivated young men and women to pursue careers as Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Process Technicians within the Oil and Gas industry.
The industry is offering training places to school leavers and students from further education colleges.
- You must be over 16½ and below 21 years of age at the start of the program.
- You must have at least GCSE grades of A, B or C (or equivalent) or in Scotland, Standard Grades at level 1, 2 or 3 (or equivalent), in Mathematics, English, and double science or two from Physics, Chemistry or a technological subject by the start of the programme.

Shell sponsors an organisation, along with other technological companies, called the Royal Academy of Engineering, “Year in Industry”.
