A Demo Day is an event that marks the culmination of the startup acceleration programme, providing the teams with the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions to a diverse audience of potential investors, mentors, and industry experts.
Brazil 2024
The SSE Brazil 3’ Cohort (2024) focused on the theme of The Energy of Tomorrow. The event held in April 2024 at the Jardim Botânico in Rio de Janeiro, featured eleven innovative and collaborative Brazilian start-ups that share the purpose of transforming our tomorrow.

31 startups receive support from Shell StartUp Engine in 2021
Global
Shell StartUp Engine (SSE) is a global innovation programme for entrepreneurs in the energy industry and supports early-stage start-ups in areas such as renewables, energy storage, smart grids, and electric mobility. In Singapore, the SSE startup GreenCOP has a process that allows biowastes to be converted to biofuel and other bio-resources. In France, SSE works with EV-related startups that are finding solutions to reduce Carbon Emissions in Mobility. Overall, 31 start-ups have received support from the SSE in 2021.
