Appomattox

The Appomattox deep-water project is Shell’s largest floating platform in the US Gulf of Mexico. It is on track to produce first oil by the end of the decade.

In April 2018 Shell took the final investment decision to develop the Vito deep-water project in the US Gulf of Mexico. Vito will be Shell’s 11th deep-water project in the area.

Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCo) produces oil from the Bonga North West field in water depths of more than 1,000 metres.
