Choose the Shell path for you
Shell is one of the world’s largest companies, with variety of roles and opportunities, globally. To help you find the best place for your skills, we have organised our Graduate Programme into three distinct business areas.

Shell Trading & Supply (T&S) is one of the largest energy trading organisations in the world with hubs in London, Houston, Singapore, Dubai and Rotterdam.
We support the Shell group through trading crude oil, refined products, low-carbon fuels, power, liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemical feedstocks, environmental products and freight services in trading hubs around the world. We are active in most energy markets across the globe, sourcing from a wide range of suppliers and selling to a wide range of customers.
T&S consists of a number of separate businesses that belong to the Shell group of companies. This provides us access to an integrated network of supply and distribution activities and industry-leading shipping and maritime capabilities, allowing us to operate as a truly integrated supply chain and add value to Shell across multiple facets of our business from Upstream and Integrated Gas to the Downstream and Renewables businesses.
We strive to bring stable and secure energy to millions of communities across the world while continuing to push towards a net-zero carbon future. Our people in Trading and Supply ensure this energy reaches our customers on time, efficiently and at better value by forging mutually beneficial partnerships.
Your Shell Trading & Supply Graduate Programme experience
On-the-job experience in this area entails two 18-month rotations in Trading and Supply businesses, exposure across commodities and geographical scope where possible. The objective is to give you exposure to Operations, Analytics, Risk, Compliance and Business Development within Trading and Supply, supported by formal training. Upon successful completion of the Roundtable assessment, you will be able to further develop your knowledge within one of the multiple business lines in Trading & Supply.

Stage One: Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Interview
Step into the role with our Virtual Job Tryout, the first stage of your application journey. Experience the job through simulations where you tackle challenges, demonstrate your problem-solving skills, share your unique story, and reveal your work approach. This is a dynamic way to gauge how you’ll fit into a role in the Shell Graduate Programme. Once you complete the Virtual Job Tryout, you will then move on to the On-Demand Interview. During the On-Demand Interview, you will be given enough time to prepare for each question before being asked to record your responses. You will be given the option to save your progress, though you will have to complete the interview within 7 days from receiving the invitation.
The Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Interview will take approximately 40 minutes.
Stage Two: Final Assessment (Virtual)

Applicants to the Shell Graduate Programme (SGP) will complete a virtual interview with the same two Shell employees. This allows us to get to know you better and for you to get to know us better.
