Jay Leno & the eco cars of the future
The Shell Eco-marathon has been inspiring bright young minds for thirty years. As part of the Detroit 2015 live event, TV host and car enthusiast, Jay Leno compares his car’s performance with a car from the Shell Eco-marathon.

Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams from around the world to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. This global event sparks debate about the future of transport and inspires young engineers to push the boundaries of fuel efficiency.

The team is competing at Shell Eco-marathon.
