Shell LNG Marketing and Trading is the face to customers for Shell’s global LNG business. Being one of the largest portfolio players, and building on 50 years in the LNG industry, it is one of the most experienced in delivering cleaner energy globally through managing the purchase and sale of LNG from Shell, its partners and third parties.

With access to over 40 million tonnes of regasification capacity, 13 liquefaction plants and sourcing third-party LNG, Shell’s global LNG trading capability delivers hundreds of LNG cargoes to over 25 countries every year. To meet customer needs, Shell operates nearly 100 LNG carriers, representing about 20% of the global LNG shipping, making Shell one of the largest LNG shipping operators.

All this activity comes together through a global trading business, the key trading hubs are in Singapore and Dubai with regional offices in London, The Hague, Houston, Lima, Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City.

We are also investing in the marine and heavy-duty road transport sector to provide customers with LNG as a cost-competitive and cleaner burning transport fuel.
