With SAF gaining prominence as a key decarbonisation option for the aviation industry, the Shell XTL Process offers a flexible pathway to producing bio-SAF, e-SAF, or a combination of both from a range of sustainable feedstocks.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYilkins’ torrefaction technology is complementary to the Shell XTL Process as it transforms raw biomass, such as forestry and agricultural residues, into torrefied products. When integrated with the Shell XTL Process, it enables the production of bio-SAF from a wide range of biomass residues or, when combined with renewable hydrogen from solar and/or wind power, the production of bio-SAF and e-SAF.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EElise H.
