The customer had&nbsp;\u003Cb\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https://www.shell.com/business-customers/catalysts-technologies/resources-library/refinery-revamp-faq.html\" target=\"_self\"\u003Erevamped their plant\u003C/a\u003E\u003C/b\u003E&nbsp;with a licensor to increase capacity and run a more selective catalyst, but the catalyst installed was not able to deliver.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EShell Catalysts &amp; Technologies was able to step in with an EO catalyst that enabled the customer to achieve their required run length, which allowed the delivery of the value premised in the revamp investment.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAs a result, the longer runs, higher selectivity, and better stability have allowed the customer to generate much improved returns during the last few years. They have been able to save on ethylene consumption and to maximise production.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBeing involved in this project was rewarding because of how we offered the customer both dependability and quality.
