For the past century, innovation has been at the heart of what we do in the bitumen business. There have been many milestones along the way and in 2018 we celebrate an important anniversary. More than 50 years ago, we carried out the first trials on sequenced co-polymers for roadway applications, and went on to officially trademarked Shell Cariphalte in 1972.
