Refineries and Terminals
All jet fuel is certified before it leaves the refinery to ensure it meets exacting standards, but the journey from refinery to airport can be long and complex, particularly to more remote locations. However robust your on-airport procedures may be, there is always risk of fuel contamination within the supply chain. This could lead to a stock out situation, affecting your ability to support your airline customers or, in the worst-case scenario, safety issues, damage to equipment or accidents.
Our technical experts have in-depth experience of inspection and audit of the supply chain from refinery, through terminals and pipelines to the airport. We can support you to ensure that your supply chain complies with EI/JIG Standard 1530, which sets out quality assurance requirements for the manufacture, storage and distribution of aviation fuel to airports.
Our service includes inspection of refineries and terminals and advice on how to deal with any issues, while minimising risk. If potential fuel quality or contamination issues do occur, we can help to quickly identify and solve the problem, helping keep your operations running smoothly.
