Shell V-Power Unleaded is 95 octane across the whole of Namibia, which is great news for motorists as more and more engines are designed to operate optimally on 95 octane petrol. To get the best performance out of your car, try Shell V-Power Unleaded. It is available at all Shell Service Stations in NamibiaFrom the 1st of January 2006, Namibia will phase out leaded petrol.
In order to ensure that our customers are not adversely impacted by this change, Shell scientists have developed Shell Ultra LRP. This Lead Replacement Petrol (LRP) is specially designed for cars that were originally designed to use leaded petrol.
Shell Ultra LRP is a result of Shell's involvement in lead phase-out programmes in over 50 countries worldwide.
Shell Ultra LRP Contains a metallic additive that provides protection to "soft valve seats" that are fitted in some, mainly older engine types.
However, The vast majority of cars in Namibia can safely use Shell V-Power Unleaded, so we recommend you ask our specially trained Fuels Advisor at your local Shell Service Station to inform you about the best fuel choice for your car.
If your engine was designed to run on leaded fuel, go to Shell and ask for Shell Ultra LRP. It is available at all Shell Service Stations across Namibia.
