  Shell V-Power Unleaded is our leading performance fuel in Namibia.  From 2006 it will be even further improved, so get ready for even more Power at your command!

Shell V-Power Unleaded is developed for you to get the best drive out of your car.  It is formulated by the same Shell scientists who design the fuel for the Ferrari Formula 1 team and everything we learn on the racetrack, we use in the development of the fuels you use in your car.

Shell V-Power Unleaded is specially formulated to clean and wash away existing engine deposits.

Shell V-Power Unleaded is 95 octane across the whole of Namibia, which is great news for motorists as more and more engines are designed to operate optimally on 95 octane petrol. Shell Ultra LRP

From the 1st of January 2006, Namibia will phase out leaded petrol.

In order to ensure that our customers are not adversely impacted by this change, Shell scientists have developed Shell Ultra LRP.  This Lead Replacement Petrol (LRP) is specially designed for cars that were originally designed to use leaded petrol.

Shell Ultra LRP is a result of Shell's involvement in lead phase-out programmes in over 50 countries worldwide.

Shell Ultra LRP Contains a metallic additive that provides protection to "soft valve seats" that are fitted in some, mainly older engine types.

However, The vast majority of cars in Namibia can safely use Shell V-Power Unleaded, so we recommend you ask our specially trained Fuels Advisor at your local Shell Service Station to inform you about the best fuel choice for your car.

If your engine was designed to run on leaded fuel, go to Shell and ask for Shell Ultra LRP.  It is available at all Shell Service Stations across Namibia.
