Shell South Africa today announced its continued sponsorship of the Top Gear Festival at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Running from 15 to 16 June 2013, Shell is building on the success of last year’s event to make sure that visitors to the Top Gear Festival experience the premium Shell V-Power fuel’s performance promise in action.
Shell is pleased to hear from the Minister in the presidency, Collins Chabane this morning that Cabinet endorsed a recommendation for the lifting of the moratorium on shale gas exploration in SA.
To coincide with World Water Day, Shell South Africa today released Stage One of a Karoo Groundwater Atlas. The Atlas is the result of a study conducted at the end of 2011 into the occurrence and characteristics of groundwater in the Karoo area of South Africa....
PRETORIA – February 21, 2012 – Shell South Africa today reached a settlement agreement with the Competition Commission to pay an administrative penalty of R26.2 million for its involvement in the use of a pricing methodology for bitumen. The pricing methodology was agreed within the Southern African Bitumen Association (SABITA), of which Shell is a member.
CAPE TOWN – February 10, 2012 – The Minister of Mineral Resources has awarded Shell South Africa Upstream B.V. an exploration right in the Orange Basin Deep Water area off the north-west coast of South Africa.
