Shell holds three new professional training programmes for the public participation
Shell Development Oman recently organised three different training programmes during the month of October as part of its professional training programme theme which is considered as one of its ongoing social investment initiatives in the Sultanate. Shell Training Programmes allow Omani employees in both public and private sector establishment and NGOs to participate, at no charge, to help them develop their abilities and enhance their skills in their professional careers.

Shell launches its Career Awareness Programme
Shell Development Oman launched this morning at the College of Tourism in Seeb “Shell Career Awareness Programme” under the auspicious of H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sarmi, Undersecretary of Higher Education. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials from the public and private sectors along with a number of journalists and media reporters.

The Ministry of Education and Shell Development Oman train a group of young handicapped Omanis for employment
With the objective of encouraging the handicapped to contribute to the development of the country through integrating them in the society as a productive segment, the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Shell Development Oman and Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) is currently conducting a training for employment programme for 20 students with special needs who graduated from a number of institutes and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education.

Shell Road Safety Awards 2010 launched With the Motto
“Altering Undesirable Traffic Practices … Towards A generation Aware of Traffic Rules” Ministry of Education, Royal Oman Police and Shell Development Oman have inaugurated Shell Road Safety Awards 2010 in a press conference held in the head quarter of the Ministry of Education, with the attendance of the members of the main team and central team of Shell Road Safety Awards, representatives from the governorates and educational regions and media personnel.

Shell holds “Careers & Prospects 2010” event and graduates 100 young Omanis in the Oil & Gas and Customer Service sectors
Held this morning in the College of Law in Wattaya, Shell’s “Careers & Prospects 2010” event took place under the auspices of H.E. Sheikh Al Fadhel bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Undersecretary of Ministry of National Economy for Development Affairs, and attended by a number of their Excellencies and dignitaries from various government and private sector establishments to celebrate the graduation of 100 young Omanis to work in the Oil & Gas and Customer Service sectors.

Shell Road Safety Awards 2009: winners announced
In conjunction with the activities of the 26th GCC traffic week, the Shell Road Safety Awards 2009 ceremony was held on Monday March 15th, under the auspices of Her Excellency Dr. Sharifa bint Khalfan Al Yahyaeyah, Minister of Social Development and with the presence of his Excellency the Minister of Education, along with a number of senior officials from the ministry of Education, Royal Oman Police, and Shell Development Oman.
