Providing equal opportunity for women’s professional development, Shell Development Oman recently conducted a special training course focused toward Omani women titled “Smart Women.”

Shell Development Oman LLC organised a two-day training programme on ‘Public Relations & Media’ that took place at the crowne Plaza Muscat from 22-23 September 2012.

A first of its kind comprehensive green guide under the title “Exploring Oman the Natural Way” was launched in ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Muscat, and attended by a number of government officials from the Ministry of Tourism and members from the Environment Society of Oman, along with officials from Shell.

Winners are awarded in Shell Road Safety Awards 2011

Shell Development Oman recently conducted its first Shell professional training programme scheduled for 2012. These professional training programmes are held as part of the company’s social investment initiatives that aim to develop the capacity of Omanis who are employed in public and private sector establishments and enable them to enhance their professional skills and abilities to be more productive in their careers.

Shell Development Oman (SDO) held its “Career & Prospects 2012” ceremony under the auspices of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Said Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development and attended by a number of their Excellencies and senior officials from various government and private sector establishments.

Ministry of Education, Royal Oman Police and Shell Development Oman jointly launched Shell Road Safety Awards 2012 on April 15th 2012 at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Education. The event was attended by members of the main executive committee and central committee teams of Shell Road Safety Awards, representatives from the educational governorates.

Shell Development Oman (SDO) had participated in Earth Hour 2012 as a proudly committed organisation to this global campaign which is locally led by Environment Society of Oman (ESO) to create awareness and action on critical environmental issues such as energy conservation and climate change.

As part of its continuous dialogue with its stakeholders, Shell Development Oman (SDO) held its Social Performance Workshop in Muscat on 21 March 2012.

Shell Development Oman received an honorary recognition from Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) for participating in its traffic awareness activities that took place recently as part of its continuous efforts to instil and strengthen traffic awareness levels amongst its members and personnel.
