As a shareholder holding your shares through the Royal Dutch Shell Nominee Service you will be able to:

  • receive any dividends paid by Royal Dutch Shell plc
  • receive regular information from Royal Dutch Shell such as the annual report and accounts and other information relating to any major changes in Royal Dutch Shell’s business
  • attend Annual General Meetings of shareholders
  • vote on matters put to shareholders

When you join the Nominee Service we will send you an opening statement. Thereafter we will send you an annual statement showing the number of shares held on your behalf.  Alternatively, you can review your holding by visiting and applying for a free portfolio. Buying or selling shares held through the Royal Dutch Shell Nominee Service

The following share dealing services are available to participants who hold A or B shares in the Royal Dutch Shell Nominee Service.

Equiniti Financial Services Limited offers internet and telephone dealing to shareholders resident in the UK, settling in Sterling. More information including the terms and conditions of the service can be obtained online at or by calling 08456 037 037 (UK only).

A weekly postal dealing service is also available to shareholders. This service is designed for use by shareholders resident in the UK, providing settlement by Sterling cheque, on a trade + 3 days basis. A form together with terms and conditions can be obtained by calling 0871 384 2248 (UK only, calls cost 8p per minute plus network extras. Lines open 8.30am to 5.30pm (UK time), Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Or +44 121 415 7073 from outside the UK.  

ABN Amro Bank N.V. offers a dealing service to shareholders settling in Euros or Sterling. More information about this service and details of the rates can be obtained by calling their Amsterdam office on +31 (0)20 343 6611.
