Vice President Investor Relations, Europe

Peter van Driel is responsible for all contacts and relationship management with current and potential institutional shareholders of Royal Dutch Shell plc. in Europe. He joined Shell in 1991 and has held various finance positions in Downstream, Trading and Upstream, such as Distribution Finance Manager for Europe, Business Finance Manager Russia, and Head of Corporate M&A and Commercial Finance for the Americas and later for Upstream International. Before taking up his current role in March 2013, Peter was based in the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Russia and the USA.

Rutger Jan de Kreij joined Shell in 2001. Before taking up his current role in August 2013, Rutger Jan was based in the Middle-East, in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, for almost 10 years in a variety of finance positions. He has an business administration (MSc), and CMA & CFM degrees. Prior to joining Shell Rutger Jan worked for 6 years in a.o. the FMCG industry.

Kimberly McNeely joined Shell in 2005 and has held various finance positions in Downstream (Manufacturing), Deep-Water, Projects & Technology, and Unconventionals. Prior to joining Shell, Kimberly was a Senior Accountant with experience in the construction and consumer products sectors. She has finance (BSc) and project management (MSc) degrees. Kimberly joined the Investor Relations team in April 2014.

Cerys Reece works on our Socially Responsible Investors program and is based in The Hague. Cerys has a degree in Law with French and is a CA Chartered Accountant. Since joining Shell in 2011, Cerys has worked as a financial controller in the Holdings and Treasury team. Prior to joining Shell, Cerys was an Audit Manager with experience in the industrial products and technology sectors.

Kee-Nic joined the team in 2014. Prior to this, he has held posts in M&A as a consultant in financial modelling and at Shell Trading as an accountant. Kee-Nic worked at National Bank of Kuwait (International) before joining Shell in 2010. Kee-Nic holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants designation (CIMA).

Arjen joined Shell in 2013 as a Financial Analyst in Upstream (NAM). He then ran the PMO facilitating the migration of part of the NAM finance department to a Krakow service center. Throughout 2015 Arjen worked as a Team Manager in the Manila service center until joining IR in March 2016. Arjen holds a MSc degree (International Financial Economics) and is currently writing a thesis to complete his “Chartered Controller” post-Master degree.

Orna Stapel-Oreel joined Shell in 2003. She is responsible for organizing shareholder engagements with Royal Dutch Shell Management.

Orna has worked as Personal Assistant en Executive Assistant for several departments and projects in Shell, including Bonga in Nigeria (supporting from The Netherlands) and Shell Development Kashagan. In 2011 she joined Recruitment as Senior Executive Candidate Coordinator and in 2012 she became Recruitment Operations Teamlead for The Netherlands and Russia.

Martijn Vankan joined Shell in 1995 after graduating with a double major in Financing and Macroeconomics at Maastricht University. He has held Commercial, M&A and Finance positions in both the Downstream and Upstream businesses across the world, including in the Middle East and China.

Retail Investor Relations Manager, US

Jean Young manages Shell’s retail Investor Relations program in the United States after many years in IR at other public companies and IR agencies.
Jean holds an undergraduate degree in English and Communications from the State University of New York at Albany and received an MBA in Finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.

Ryan Birse joined Shell in 1997 and is a Certified Management Accountant. He has held various finance roles in Shell including corporate head office and site operations roles in on-shore gas and heavy oil. Ryan joined Investor Relations based in Houston in 2012.

Courtney Mason, a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management, joined Shell in 2005 in New Orleans, LA.
She has held a variety of finance roles supporting offshore Gulf of Mexico production, Canadian oil sands projects, and North American shale development.
Courtney joined the Investor Relations team in October 2014 and is based in Houston, Texas.

Arpan Shah joined Shell in 2006 and has held various finance roles in Upstream and Downstream. He has a Bachelors degree in Finance and Masters degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Arpan joined the Investor Relations team in March 2016 and is based in Houston, Texas.
