During the application process you’ll be asked to choose one of the following routes to demonstrate why you’d shine in a career with Shell. So think carefully about which approach suits you best.
Our internships are fully assessed and will allow you to get involved in real projects specifically matched to your interests and abilities. This is not work experience – this is working for Shell, in real teams, alongside true professionals. You’ll receive regular and structured performance evaluations from your mentor and direct supervisor, and you’ll find out what the energy industry is really like, from the inside
Shell Recruitment Day
Prior to the Shell Recruitment Day you’ll attend an informal non-assessed engagement where you’ll have further insight into Shell’s business operations. The Shell Recruitment Day is a final face-to-face assessment day where we explore how well you cope with various business scenarios. We assess your capacity to analyse critical issues and identify the wider implications.
We also observe how you work with other people, how well you deal with change and to what extent you drive your own learning. You participate in various activities including a written task, group discussion, a case study analysis and presentation, with a final interview. Based upon the talents, skills and knowledge you display, you could be offered a full-time position on our Graduate Programme.
Whichever route you choose, helping you fulfil your potential is our top priority. Working on real projects from day one gives you the chance to ‘hit the ground running’ and prove yourself.
