Downstream Manufacturing

Shell owns and operates four refineries in the United States with a combined capacity of 753,000 barrels per day.* Three Shell plants manufacture 15 billion pounds of chemicals annually for industrial use. Motiva owns and operates three refineries with a combined capacity of 865,000 barrels per day, along with a 22,500 barrel-per-day high-viscosity index base oil plant.
