The two courses on offer are Marine Vessel Operations and Marine Engineering Operations, which both involve alternating periods at sea and at college to achieve Government approved qualifications. The time taken to complete your studies & gain the necessary sea-time is approximately 3 years. Training will be given at one of the UK Marine Colleges, such as Warsash Maritime Academy. Once qualified, you will be given the opportunity to progress with your chosen option up to the rank of Master or Chief Engineer earning in the region of £50,000 per year. Depending on your ability this could be achieved by your mid to late thirties.
