Shell Irus Fluids are a range of advanced fire resistant hydraulic fluids. They contain powerful additives to enhance its anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation properties. They are available in different fire-resistant categories including HFA, HFB, HFC, HFDU and HFDR.

Shell Turbo Oils are widely regarded as setting the industry standard in performance for lubricating steam, gas, combined cycle and hydro turbines.

The Shell Turbo range has been upgraded to provide even longer life, combined with reduced risk of deposits and filter blockage in the newest high performance machines. The Shell Turbo range also includes speciality products for aero-derivative turbines and fire resistant governor fluids.

Shell Morlina Oils are suitable for a variety of applications. The lower viscosity ones (ISO VG 5 and 10) can be used as advanced spindle oils. The higher viscosity grades are premium quality, heavy duty, bearing and circulating oils used primarily in the steel industry, where the effective lubrication of roll-neck bearings requires oils to meet the Morgan Construction Company's requirements. Shell Morlina T oils meets the Morgan requirements and have been approved by the Danieli organisation.

Shell Argina Oils are premium quality lubricants designed for medium speed trunk piston diesel engines burning residual fuels. Their reputation is built on over 20 years of providing very high standards of engine reliability and cleanliness.

The Shell Argina range has been continuously upgraded and extended to keep pace with technical advances, including modern designs with ultra-low oil consumption.

Shell Alexia 50 Oil is Shell's main cylinder oil for low (slow) speed crosshead engines. It has been recently upgraded to provide excellent cleanliness and load carrying in the latest high output long stroke engines, even operating at 100% load in power plant duty.

Shell Melina oils are 'system' oils, for the separate crankcase lubrication of low speed engines. They are designed for use with Shell Alexia and can work safely with the high levels of intercontamination which occur in engines with high boost pressures.

Shell Mysella Oils are a wide range of specialist lubricants, from ashless products through to high ash types. They cater for the demands of both 2 and 4 stroke spark-ignited and dual fuel (pilot fuel) engines. The range includes products designed for both moderate and high oil stress engines, to minimise deposits, detonation and fouling and also includes products able to protect engines running with 'sour' gases, such as sewage and landfill gas.

Shell Diala oils are an extensive range of transformer and switchgear oils for a variety of duties and complying with US, European and international specifications.

Both inhibited and non-inhibited, and both gas-absorbing and gas-evolving product types are available. There are also special products for low temperature switchgear, high flashpoint and biodegradability.

A lead-free series of versatile, premium quality industrial oils, formulated to lubricate most types of industrial enclosed gears where are premium quality E.P. gear oil is required. Shell Omala has excellent load carrying properties to protect at high temperatures and anti-foam performance to reduce frothing caused by gears in operation. Its outstanding water-separating properties also prevent water from adversely affecting the protective lubricant film.

A range of synthetic gear oils which is suitable for all types of gears, especially worm gear transmissions made of steel and bronze combinations. With a wide operating temperature range, Shell Tivela offers the potential for energy savings and optimal power gains. Due to its low pour points and temperature properties, Shell Tivela also allows lower start-up torque and flawless operation even at very low ambient temperatures.
