At Shell, we don't recruit into a generic graduate scheme. Instead, we match each individual to a particular role based on their skills, potential and personal preferences. Although for some careers we look for a specific degree background, for many others you could come from any discipline. But wherever you join us, you'll be expected to bring talent, drive and ambition. You'll also need to be ready to take on real responsibility right from the start. As your career with us progresses, you'll have the opportunity to move sideways into different roles and business areas or upwards into positions with more responsibility. As a general guide, most of our graduates are likely to have commenced a second assignment within their first three years. Who is a Graduate? |

A graduate is someone who is nearing the end of a Bachelors, Masters or Advanced degree or who has one of these degrees. Candidates will also need to demonstrate that they have certain qualities that indicate the potential to become a leader. These qualities concern intellectual, motivational and interpersonal skills as well as technical competence.
