Shell Gibraltar is committed to supporting the cultural and fundraising aims of the local community. Each year we sponsor several organisations and individuals in undertaking charitable challenges and events as well as providing support to local schools and cultural organisations. - Sponsorship for the Gibraltar Amateur Swimming Association to attend at the International Swim Championships in Geneva
- Sponsorship for the Pointes Dance School for the organisation of a local dance show called “Aladdin”
- Sponsorship for a trek in aid of Cancer Research along the Great Wall of China
- Sponsorship to the Royal Gibraltar Police to support the 4th Summer Crime Awareness Day
- Sponsorship for an individual to take part in the World Dance Championships in Germany
- Sponsorship for the Gibraltar Senior Citizens Association´s panic button project
- Sponsorship for the Law Enforcement Torch Run – Special Olympics
- Sponsorship for an individual for treatment in UK after an accident
- Sponsorship for the Disability Society to buy prizes for the Xmas Bingo
- Sponsorship for the Bayside Comprehensive School to buy 120 copies of the Eureka Science Book
Sponsorship for the production of a Road Safety booklet by the Royal Gibraltar Police. The booklet aims to inform people of the importance of Road Safety and in particular the dangers associated with drunk driving. All petitions received are considered by the Sponsorship Committee regularly and sponsorship is given depending on the merit of each cause. Letters should be sent to: Sponsorship Committee
