Learn more about our commitment to the Shell Code of Conduct.
Shell was a pioneer among global companies when we published our first General Business Principles in the 1970s. Over time, as a reflection to our commitment to governing practices, we have established a broader Shell Code of Conduct, which includes the Shell General Business Principles.
The Code of Conduct helps to clarify the standards of behavior that Shell Energy North America expects from our employees, and how to apply the Shell General Business Principles in their everyday actions.
The Code of Conduct features:
- Advice on how we comply with laws and regulations
- Insights on business etiquette, including how we relate to colleagues, customers and the community of stakeholders we serve
- A guide to other vital information sources
Our Code of Trading Ethics complements the Shell Code of Conduct and Shell General Business Principles and applies to natural gas and power marketing and trading activities.
