Yuri Sebregts was appointed site General Manager for Stanlow on 1st July 2007. His accountabilities include both the Refining and Chemicals Manufacturing activities at the site. Born in the Netherlands in 1968, Yuri graduated in chemistry from Leiden University in 1989, and joined Shell in 1991 as a process technologist. He subsequently held a variety of manufacturing and business management positions in the Netherlands and the UK. Prior to being appointed as Stanlow site General Manager he was Global Business Manager for Shell’s C4- and C5-olefins businesses, with manufacturing and commercial operations in 9 locations around the globe.
