Southern Fields

Half of Shell U.K. Limited's gas comes from the Southern area of the North Sea, just off the coast of East Anglia, where Britain's offshore industry began. The Leman field has delivered gas to British consumers since 1968. The water is relatively shallow and platforms are typically unmanned and remotely controlled.
