Safeguarding human rights

Human rights, like freedom of association, freedom from slavery and torture or the right to education, are universal.  Every human being is entitled to them. They are recognised in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, which has been adopted by nearly every country in the world.  We believe companies can and should play a constructive role in promoting human rights and have made support for human rights part of our Business Principles.
