KPI: Favourability - Shell versus nearest competitor
Special Publics' (academics, government, media, NGOs and business leaders) view of Shell remains more favourable than that of our nearest competitor, according to the Reputation Tracker survey. The tracker's ‘favourability’ indicator compares the share of respondents with a positive opinion towards Shell to those with a negative view of us.
The Shell Reputation Tracker is a survey of opinion among Special Publics (academics, government, media, NGOs and business leaders) in 11 of our major markets across the world, conducted by independent research firm Ipsos MORI.
Between 2007 and 2008 Special Publics' favourability towards Shell remained the same. However, Shell’s lead over its nearest competitor widened significantly.
