 The establishment of a world-scale GTL project in Ras Laffan City will provide an attractive alternative route for Qatar to monetise its vast gas reserves and create a new and sustainable long-term industry. It will also create numerous jobs in the construction phase as well as permanent jobs during operation. In addition, Shell has also committed to be an anchor tenant in the Science & Technology Park, established by the Qatar Foundation, which aims to create a regional hub in the Middle East for education and learning. |
