Ceramics and pottery, glass manufacturing, food processing, metal processing and cutting, paper manufacturing, aluminum die casting, and paint drying are the most common applications of LPG.

2. Do you perform standard periodic check ups to ensure that the installation is in good working condition?

At Shellane, our bulk tanks undergo the following required check ups:

1. Regular examination of the LPG installation. (intervals of the examinations should not exceed a year)

2. Every 5th year of service, pressure relief valves and filler valves are replaced.

3. Every 10th year of service, the tank’s interiors and exteriors are checked.

4. All examinations should be recorded.

4. What are the necessary documents required to have a customer account with Shell?

1. Customer Applicaiton Form

2. Customer Delivery and Specimen Signature Cards

3. LPG Supply Agreement and Equipment Lease Agreement

4. Articles of Incorporation/By-Laws

5. Secretary's Certificate or Board Resolution authorising your Company's representative to transact in behalf of the company.

5. Are there permits required for the installation of a bulk tank?

Fire and mechanical permit to be procured from your local Fire Deparment and ocal government unit will be required. We will secure all the government permits( mechanical / fire) required in the initial operation of the said bulk LPG tank.

6. What kind of assistance can I expect from Shellane to help me in running my bulk tank LPG system?

Shellane offers 24-hour technical and emergency assistance to all its industrial partners. We also have a preventive maintenance program for your LPG set up.

7. How will you deliver LPG to my account?

Delivery of products is done using a fleet of LPG lorries and trailers on a scheduled, pre-plan basis unless otherwise advised by the customer.

8. Are there technical considerations when designing an LPG system to supply my equipment?

There are many factors to consider and the main drivers are:

1. The consumption of your equipment

2. The number of equipment

3. The hours of operation

4. The distance of the equipment from the LPG tank farm.

These will greatly affect the pipe size, design, tank size, and regulator capacity. The design and evaluation will be performed by our technical engineers.

9. Will training and consultancy be provided?

We can provide, as and when required by the customer, technical advice and services such as piping and system design, equipment selection, and training on LPG Product Knowledge, Safety and Bulk Operation, and Product Receiving.
