An Autogas conversion kit is easy to install under the hands of a qualified technician. Most of the parts are clipped on, with minor alterations to the vehicle. All gasoline parts are retained as the system allows you to start and run the vehicle with either LPG or gasoline with the help of a change over switch.

The important parts of the system are the following:

Tank - Accommodates the LPG. (Comes in different sizes, from a range of 30 liters to 100 liters)

Multivalve - facilitates refuelling. It has an 80% stop-fill safety device that acts as a shut-off valve in the event the LPG line ruptures

LPG Solenoid Valve - allows entry as well as prevents flow of LPG to the system, depending on the mode selected

Gasoline Solenoid Valve - allows entry as well as prevents flow of gasoline to the system, depending on the mode selected

Electronic Control Module - Regulates the flow of LPG depending on the engine RPM (only in fuel injected models)

Gas/ Petrol Switch - allows change over from gasoline to LPG

Pressure Regulator or Vaporizer - Facilitates vaporization of LPG from liquid state

Mixer or Gas Injector - introduces the vaporized LPG in the combustion chamber
