Jeth Romy Morado of Jose Zurbito Senior Elementary School (Masbate) emerged as the winner of the Top-8-year-old and Under category of the 16th Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship – Southern Luzon (Naga) Leg held recently at the LCC Mall in Naga City. Morado reaped 5.5 points and 33 Bucholz points at the end of the seven-round Swiss System tournament.
