The Malampaya Consortium, through the Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI), signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Inc. (CARD) for a micro-financing project to benefit the women in the 2nd district of Oriental Mindoro.

The Roxas Branch of CARD in Oriental Mindoro is managing the fund endowed by the Malampaya Consortium for the women living in the district and engaged in small scale businesses. The signing ceremony was held on February 7, 2005 at the Picasso Room of Vivere Suites, Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
