A festive banca adorned with Shell buntings and a slogan - "Pilipinas Shell: Kaakibat sa patuloy na pagbuhay ng Ilog Pasig", professing Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation's commitment in helping to revive the Pasig River paraded amongst the other 30 decorated boats along the river's waterway from Plaza Mexico in Intramuros, Manila to Makati River Park Garden in Makati on 22 April 2005 in celebration of the Earth Day.

 The Pasig River Fluvial Parade, now on its 12th year and is organized by the Sagip Pasig Movement, is held yearly to ignite public concern and increase the awareness of the participating communities, institutions, and companies on the deterioration of the Philippine rivers especially that of the depressing state of Pasig. It is participated by communities and companies operating along the Pasig riverbanks. The said parade is in connection with the Earth Day Network Philippines and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources line up of activities for the Earth Day 2005 celebration with this year's theme "Green Check: Stop Earth Abuse!" Four dragon boats, its rowers wearing Shell shirts, led the parade followed by the Ms. Earth Philippines boat.
