Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. (Pilipinas Shell) and the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), the premier organization of financial executives in the country partnered to bring one of the most prestigious business events in the country this year, the 2005 World Congress of Financial Executives.

This year's world congress will be held on December 5-7, 2005 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel with the theme: "Global Markets: Thriving in Shifting Financial Landscapes". About 600 to 800 delegates, comprised of chief finance officers (CFOs) and finance executives representing top companies in the country and foreign delegates from the Asia Pacific and Europe are expected to attend the annual event organized by the International Association of Financial Executives Institute of which FINEX is the local representative. "We are privileged to be a major partner of FINEX in the staging of this significant event. We hope that through this partnership, Shell can contribute towards showcasing the many positive attributes of the country to all the participating delegates," said Shell companies in the Philippines Country Chairman Edgar O.
