All pension scheme participants can make a number of choices. These choices relate to the moment at which you wish to retire and to the level of your pension. You can also combine some of the choices. This section contains further information about the various options.

The Attachment to Regulations V plus the Insert for this Attachment contain all the tables you need for making the choices that are relevant to you. There are different tables for pensions of which payment commences before 1st August 2010 and for pensions of which payment commences on or after 1st August 2010. You can download copies of all tables on this site under 'brochures'.

If you have access to SWW, the Shell intranet, you can make pension calculations with the Pension Calculator  and determine the consequences of different pension choices for your pension income.
