Pensions are paid monthly in advance. That means you can generally expect your pension payment to have been transferred to your bank or giro account on the first working day of the month. This is often somewhat later at New Year to avoid the payment being transferred to your account too early. In that case the payment would also be deemed to be taxable income for the purpose of the levies over the previous year. |

You may also have your pension paid outside the Netherlands. In that case you yourself are liable to pay any bank charges associated with this. Different bank or giro account number If the bank or giro account number to which your pension payments are transferred should change, you are required to notify the Pension Fund of this in writing (not by e-mail or by fax). The address is listed on this website under contact. |
