Tasks and authorities of the Members’ Council Tasks The Members’ Council provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board of Administrators on important matters concerning the Pension Fund. This concerns such aspects as: · amendments to the Constitution and Regulations of the Pension Fund; · compilation of the annual report and the Actuarial and Operating Memorandum (Actuariële en Bedrijfstechnische Nota, ABTN); · granting indexation on pensions in payment and other granted pensions. |

The Board is required to solicit the advice of the Members’ Council in good time and to follow this advice in its decision-making process. If the Members’ Council’s advice is not observed, the Members’ Council may file an appeal with the Enterprise Section of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Authorities The authorities of the Members’ Council are based primarily on legislation (the Pension Act) and on the Pension Fund’s Constitution. |
