Commercial Sales Manager - Oman

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:


- Accountable for bottom line results to the Local board and regional GMs for Commercial fuels
- To achieve financial KPI’s and accept responsibility for bottom line accountability for the sales of commercial fuels, marine and bitumen in Oman
- Regularly review the business, operational and financial performance and implement corrective actions as required
- To provide effective performance management and motivation of the sales team i.e. effective implementation of sales first and sales ladder competence.
- Lead the Customer Service Centre by establishing a cohesive, "superior performance" culture, motivating and encouraging all staff to work effectively and ensuring that they receive appropriate coaching and development.
- Develop strategies with Line of Business teams to increase the business profitability and sustain leadership in various sectors and channels including managing capital investment.
- Oversee credit management and raise standards of win-win contract terms.
Promote a customer focus culture across all members of the team.
- Build and maintain good relationship with inter- company service providers and functions in local OU, Cluster, Zonal and Global teams.
- Lead the change management and diversity process.
Expand business bottom line by developing new and sustainable business opportunities.

 

Qualifications & Skills Required:

      - The incumbent should at least be a university graduate with a minimum of seven years of sales management experience, with a track record of consistently producing good results in a competitive business environment.
      - The candidate is expected to possess excellent communication skills with good commercial instinct and customer orientation.
      - The candidate should have the ability to work in a multi cultural environment.
