 1. The Shell Swap’n’Go 5000 Bonus Point promotion (the “Promotion”) begins at
12:01am on 2 November 2009 and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 3 January 2010 (the
“Promotion Period”).
2. The promoter is Shell New Zealand Limited of 3 Queens Wharf, Wellington (the
“Promoter”).
3. The Promotion is only open to members of the New Zealand Fly Buys programme.
Employees of the Promoter, Shell Petroleum Mining Company Limited, Loyalty New
Zealand Limited and Shell service stations are not eligible to participate.
4. To enter the Promotion you need to either purchase or swap a 8.5kg LPG cylinder
through the Swap’n’Go program, at a participating Shell service station at any time
during the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Product Purchase”) and have your Fly Buys
card swiped at the time of paying for the Qualifying Product Purchase. Fly Buys cards
must be swiped at the time of the Qualifying product Purchase transaction for the
Promotion to apply. Each time your Fly Buys card is swiped in association with a
Qualifying Product Purchase you will be automatically entered in the Promotion as a
separate entry. All separate entries will be entered into the Prize draw.
5. You may enter as many times as you like but each entry requires a separate
Qualifying Product Purchase.
6. The Promotion excludes Shell Card and Cardlink purchases. For the avoidance of
doubt, purchases made using Shell Card or Cardlink do not qualify as Qualifying
Product Purchases.
7. There is one prize of 5,000 Fly Buys Bonus Points to be won (“Prize”).
8. There will be one Prize draw conducted at the offices of the Promoter at 4pm on
Monday 11 January 2010. The first Fly Buys card number drawn will win the Prize.
9. The Prize will be awarded to the person listed as the primary cardholder on the
winning Fly Buys account (regardless of who made the Qualifying Product Purchase).
10. The Prize is not transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
11. The Prize winner will be notified by phone within 21 days of the Prize draw. Following
notification, the Prize will be awarded to the primary cardholder on the winning Fly
Buys account.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any
entrant who tampers with the entry process or who does not comply with these Terms
and Conditions.
13. The Promoter’s decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
14. The Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or these
Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason.
15. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or
voice in the event they are a Prize winner (including photograph, film and/or recording
of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the
purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) or promoting any
products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
16. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
17. Fly Buys’ standard terms and conditions (available at www.flybuys.co.nz) apply to the
Promotion.
18. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute
arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the New Zealand courts. |
