When properly used Shell's products cause little or no hazard to people's health. The degree to which they may constitute a health hazard however depends on the chemical and physical properties of the product.

Our responsibility is to make you aware of the major areas of risk, to provide basic information on the effects of mishandling petroleum products and to stimulate you to enquire further on techniques for handling these products with safety.
