 The merchandising department within Shell Select designed this guide for suppliers who have expressed an interest in doing business with Shell Select. By utilizing these guidelines, Shell Select will be able to quickly review your product and assess its fit with our business model. All suppliers who complete the form will be assured of a reply within 30 days of receipt of all requested materials. |

1. Download and complete the Supplier Questionnaire (17 KB). Pay specific attention to the following four questions: a. What is the customer segment for your product? b. What current and future demand exists for your product? c. How will your product help Select grow its market share? d. What competition exists for your product, and what impact will your product have on other products inside Select? 2. Assemble your product sample. Only one sample of each product that you want Select to review should be sent. No gifts or gratuities, which have monetary value, must be given to Select Employees. 3. All products must come with a UPC {Universal Product Code}. |

After reviewing your products and their overall fit within Select, you will be required to complete a memorandum of understanding detailing liability issues, trading terms, promotional rate card details, penalties, invoicing and payment details and outlining Shell's General Business Principles. In general, Shell will require a minimum rebate of 5% of all purchases. For promotions, there is a separate rate card, which will be shared with our suppliers. |
