Shell Alvania greases are lead free, lithium based Extreme Pressure (EP) multi purpose greases, offering excellent water resistance and vibration resistance. Shell Alvania is available in many grades, suited to a wide range of applications and operating requirements.

Alvania EP (LF) - General Purpose Extreme Pressure Industrial Grease

Shell Alvania Greases EP(LF) are premier quality, multipurpose, lead-free (LF), extreme-pressure industrial lithium based greases. They are designed for the grease lubrication of rolling element and plain bearings such as those found in the steel, paper, mining, quarrying and construction industries.

Alvania RL - Premium Multipurpose Grease

For use on lightly loaded plain & rolling element bearings under a wide range of conditions up to 120°C. Used in electric motor bearings generators, alternators and pump bearings. Not suited for extreme pressure applications.

Alvania SDX2 - High Performance Grease for Severe Duty

Shell Alvania Grease SDX2 is a super high performance grease for the lubrication of industrial bearings subjected to the most arduous conditions. It is based on heavy duty semi-synthetic base oils and a mixed lithium/calcium soap thickener. It contains extreme-pressure, anti-wear, anti-corrosion and adhesion additives. The addition of molybdenum disulphide provides additional resistance to shock loading.

For applications where extreme temperatures are experienced, Shell recommends Stamina high temperature greases.

Stamina Grease EP 2 - Extreme-pressure heavy-duty  multipurpose grease

Shell Stamina EP2 Grease is an NLGI No.2, extreme-pressure, polyurea-thickened grease for moderate to heavily loaded anti-friction bearings, bushes and couplings, and bearings with extended regreasing intervals. Shell Stamina EP2 grease can prolong bearing life up to 10 times and is  water-resistant with an operating temperature range of from -10°C to +160°C (peaking to 180°C).

Stamina Grease RL 2 - Premium Industrial Bearing Grease

Shell Stamina RL Grease is a super high performance grease designed to meet the most severe demands for grease lubrication in automotive and industrial applications. It is based on a a special diurea thickener to give long life, low wear and shear-stable properties at high temperatures.

Shell Malleus GL is a range of premium quality, lead free, full extreme pressure lubricants developed for the lubrication and protection of open gears and wire ropes subjected to extremes of ambient temperature and operating conditions. It is a unique blend of High Viscosity Index paraffinic mineral and synthetic base oils with carefully selected additives to provide optimum performance.  Its balanced formulation allows the lubricant to stay soft and pliable over long periods, thus eliminating the build-up of lubricant in the roots of the gear teeth.

Semi-synthetic, solvent free-open gear lubricants for mining and industrial applications. These fluid greases form an adhesive film with exceptional load carrying ability. Specifically formulated for use in draglines, shovels, and excavators.

Malleus ET Grease, an extreme-pressure grease, blended for industrial applications operating at temperatures up to 600°C, is also available.
