Belgium

The Belgium leg of the Tour arrives in historical Waterloo, 16 April 2007.

Ferrari 60 Relay reaches Belgium

The Belgian leg of the Tour started in Waterloo, home of the grand battle of the year 1815 between Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington. The ceremonial baton was handed over at a lunch being held in honour of the event in Bruges, known as the Venice of Belgium thanks to its numerous canals.

The Tour left the city of Bruges in the direction of Antwerp, where the cars stopped on the banks of the river Schelda. After briefly stopping in Holland, the Ferrari 60 relay tour made its way to Belfast in Ireland where it would start its procession around the UK.
