A Winning Formula

The MotoGP season presents new challenges and opportunities for the Shell team to continue the consistent performance improvements provided by Shell V-Power race fuels and Shell Advance race oil.

The Shell technical partnership with Ducati in MotoGP is a strategic relationship in which both parties embrace engineering development. The programme is extensive, covering technical support and consultation, plus product development and provision of Shell Advance race lubricant and Shell V-Power race fuel.

In an age of regulated fuel tank size and ever-increasing competition between teams, Shell’s continued goal in MotoGP is to provide Ducati with 100% reliability, whilst optimising the power output from the bike.

Shell’s commitment to innovation through motorsport is not only vital for Ducati Corse, but also forms an integral part of an extensive research and development programme that is key to making better road fuels and lubricants for bikers around the world.
