Shell has given us great back up, giving us all the information, doing all the analyses we ask for - and all the ones we don't ask for, just because we don't know any better…so that our working conditions are healthy, and also so that we can protect the external environment.
What Shell offers Ferrari is a high-level support and service - and crucially, a range of specialised products. We are talking about a camshaft made of nitrided steel; we're talking about deep-hole drilling. That's a very heavy process; so we must use neat oil for cooling, not water soluble products.
Where as we use Shell cooling fluids in the machining centers, in the grinding machines, and on all the individual machines.
